Acceptable Use Policy & Terms and Conditions

Introduction

The following policies apply to all Cyber Host Pro customers.

Customer Billing Policy

Payments

  • • All charges are shown in GBP/USD or EUR
  • • We accept Credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Electron, Maestro, Delta)
  • • Payments are due on the Account Statement Date (anniversary of account activation)
  • • Credit card payments will be automatically charged for recurring services
  • • You must notify us of any credit card changes
  • • Non-credit card payments must be made within 10 days of statement date
  • • Accounts 7 days past due will be suspended
  • • Unpaid balances may be subject to collection including fees

Late Fee

A 5% late fee is automatically added to unpaid invoices after due date.

Domain Names

You must maintain at least 1 active paid hosting account to use our domain registration service.

Billing Cycles

The Billing Cycle begins on the Service Activation Date. Changes take effect at next renewal.

Account Renewals

All services automatically renew at the end of their Billing Cycle at prevailing rates.

Money Back Guarantee

  • • 7-day guarantee for Website Hosting and Reseller Hosting only
  • • Excludes: Cloud Server VPS, Dedicated Servers, SSL Certificates, Domain names
  • • Free domain names incur £10 deduction from refund

Cancellations

Services continue until cancelled. Submit cancellations at least 7 days before invoice due date through our Support Desk.

Refunds

Refunds only apply to products with money back guarantee when requested within 48 hours of guarantee period ending. Renewals cannot be refunded.

PayPal Subscriptions

Clients must cancel PayPal subscriptions directly. Overpayments will be credited to your account.

Statements

Invoices are emailed automatically and available through our online portal. Paper statements are not provided.

Hosting Plan Changes

  • • Downgrades incur £9.95 fee
  • • Upgrades have no fee but may require payment of setup fee differences

Billing/Price Changes

Policies and prices may change with notice. Changes take effect in the next billing cycle.

Credit Card Disputes/Chargebacks

  • • Zero tolerance policy for chargebacks
  • • £25.00 chargeback fee per incident
  • • May result in fine, suspension or account termination

Acceptable Use Policy (All Customers)

Your Responsibility

  • • Use our network responsibly without affecting other clients
  • • We may take corrective action for policy violations
  • • Resellers must cooperate with corrective actions

Non-Cyber Host Pro Products

Mention of third-party products does not constitute endorsement. We disclaim all liabilities for non-Cyber Host Pro products.

Third Party Licenses

We provide technologies that may be licensed from third parties. We make no warranties regarding these technologies and you use them at your own risk.

Acceptable Use Policy: Website Hosting/Reseller Hosting

Fair Usage

  • • Shared hosting environment (multiple customers per server)
  • • "Unlimited" bandwidth may require upgrade if causing performance issues
  • • Reseller accounts limited to 100 user accounts

Accepting Payments

  • • Shared hosting is not PCI DSS compliant
  • • Storing card details is prohibited
  • • Use third-party payment processors (PayPal, WorldPay, etc.)

Cost of Hosting

  • • Free hosting plans prohibited
  • • Free hosting permitted only as part of other paid services (e.g., web design)

Server Resources

Accounts using excessive resources may be required to upgrade to VPS or reduce usage. We determine what constitutes excessive usage.

CGI Scripts

Scripts posing security risks or affecting performance will be removed without notice. CGI script sharing with non-Cyber Host Pro sites is prohibited.

Chat Rooms

Chat room software is not allowed on shared hosting due to resource requirements.

IRC

IRC and IRC bots are not permitted on shared hosting accounts.
